Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 Full Charge within 15 Minutes: Popular tech company Qualcomm has announced a new fast-charging technology called Quick Charge 5. The company claims that with the help of this technology, the battery of a smartphone can be charged up to 50% in 5 minutes. It will take a maximum of 15 minutes to fully charge again. It is the successor of Quick Charge 4+ launched in 2017.

The company's new Quick Charge 5 technology, which makes semiconductors, will support charging capabilities of more than 100 watts. Where its predecessor Quick Charge 4+ technology supported 45 watts of power. Quick Charge 5 is about 70% efficient and four times faster. The new technology will also be compatible with Quick Charge 2.0 and later Qualcomm Snapdragon versions.

It is known that this fast charging technology will keep the temperature of the device 10% colder than normal. It is optimized for both USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) and USB Type-C technology. The new technology uses Qualcomm's battery saver and adapter capability. Also, this new fast-charging technology enables dual and triple charge features and controls the input voltage to protect the battery while fast charging.

The Quick Charge 5 technology is currently being tested, but it is expected to be seen in upcoming devices soon this year. Initially, it will work on Snapdragon 865, Snapdragon 865+, and next-generation devices with premium and high-end Snapdragon. However, later Qualcomm, Snapdragon 700 series may bring this technology.
