Xiaomi launches Mi TV Stick Support Amazon Prime Video and Netflix: Xiaomi has become quite popular in the TV market as well as smartphones. A few days ago, the Chinese electronics company launched the Mi Box 4K streaming device in India. But they do not stop there. The company launched the much-anticipated Mi TV Stick at Xiaomi's Global Ecosystem product launch at the event. This new device will give the Amazon Fire TV stick quite a bump.

This is the first time the company has launched a compact streaming video stick. It can watch a full HD resolution video at 60 fps. It needs to be connected to the TV via the HDMI port. Mi TV Stick users can watch various movies and shows from platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney +Hotstar.

This Android TV-based Mi TV stick has Dolby and DTS powered sound support. There's Chromecast, there's Google Assistant for voice commands. The Quad-Core CPU powered streaming stick has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage.

There is also a Bluetooth remote controller for remote control. Please note that it has dedicated buttons for Google Assistant, Netflix, and Prime Video.

It has the same thumb drive form factor as the Amazon Fire TV stick and gets the same power. The Mi TV stick is priced at 39.99 Euros, which is around Rs 3,400 in Indian prices. However, Xiaomi has not yet said when it will be launched globally or its availability. Hopefully, Mi TV Stick will be seen globally very soon.
