Samsung W21 5G launched with Same Specification of Galaxy Z Fold 2

The launch with three cameras is the Samsung W21 5G folding phone: Samsung introduced the W21 5G foldable smartphone as the successor to the Samsung W20 5G smartphone launched in China last year. Although this is not a new phone, because this phone is actually the Chinese version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 that was launched in the global market a few days ago. Last year, Samsung also launched the W20 5G as the Chinese version of their Galaxy Fold. This year too, the South Korean company has maintained that tradition. 

However, although the design or specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and W21 5G phones are similar, there are slight differences between them. For example, the design of the back panel is different. The vertical line has come down from the top to the bottom of the panel and it has been given a new color called Glitter Gold to give a premium look. Again this phone has two regular Nano SIM card slots, whereas the Galaxy Z Fold 2 phone had the advantage of e-SIM configuration.

The phone is priced at 19,999 yuan (approximately Rs 2.23 lakh in Indian currency) in the Chinese market. It is available in 12GB + 512GB storage variants. The phone is now being pre-booked.

As mentioned earlier, the Samsung W21 5G is fully compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 in terms of specifications. When unfolded, it will have a 7.6-inch Full HD Plus Dynamic AMOLED Infinity O display. The display has a pixel resolution of 1768 x 2,208 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. When you fold the phone again, the 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Flex display is visible. Its resolution is 816x2260 pixels.

There is a triple camera setup on the back of the phone for photography. Its primary sensor is 12 megapixels with an f /1.8 aperture. There is also a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, which supports PDF, OIS, 2x optical zoom, and up to 10x digital zoom. There is a 10-megapixel camera for selfies.

In this folding phone, you will find Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 65 Plus processor. There is also 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It has stereo speakers with Dolby Atoms. As an operating system, it has Android 10 based OneUI 2.5 skin. A fingerprint sensor has been placed next to the phone for security. The phone has a 4,500 mAh battery with 25-watt fast charging and 11-watt wireless charging support.
