Vivo Phone interface will Change, New Origin OS is Coming

Vivo Phone interface will Change, New Origin OS is Coming: Vivo is a popular name in the smartphone market. And like the five smartphone brands, Vivo also makes entry-level, mid-range, and flagship phones and uses its own custom-skinned FuntouchOS. However, a few days ago, the Chinese company said that they will close this special custom skin in the coming days. Instead, a new user interface or UI called Origin OS will be seen on Vivo smartphones.

According to a recent report, the change will take effect on November 19. Today, the company has officially announced on the social media platform Weibo that this new custom skin will be launched at the 19th Special VDC (Vivo's Developer Conference) 2020 event.

First of all, this Origin OS was created by a popular developer company called Origin Studio. The difference between FunTouchOS and Origin OS is that Origin OS will be much like the operating system of stock Android. As a result, it cannot be customized too much and its customization will not be so complicated.

However, speculation has already started that Vivo phones may have a special toggle switch that allows users to use the modified version and the cleaner version at will. According to Tipster, a digital chat station, Origin OS is quite developed, so this custom skin can give users a fun experience. This is actually going to be a customized version of the generic Android UI.

But not only Vivo, but some other smartphone brands have also tried to use the common Android UI before. The operating systems of Motorola and Nokia smartphones are quite simple and have minimal customization. But now many are accustomed to using Samsung's OneUI or Xiaomi's MIUI, with lots of fun customizations. As well companies often add new updates to their custom skins. So if the device has a simple interface, the question remains as to how satisfied the customers will be. However, we still have to wait for the launch to know the features of Origin OS or to judge the good and the bad!
